As a current or former high school student, we may be able to determine your eligibility for college-level English and or college-level/developmental math courses by using your 未加权的 高中GPA. You will need to submit your entire academic high school transcript that must show your completion of the 11th grade as a current high school student or your final high school transcript that shows you’ve graduated within the last five years.

Additional information will be required to be placed into math course(s). The 未加权的 高中GPA and completion of eligible math courses will determine eligibility.

If you would like to take the ACCUPLACER placement test, follow these steps:

The 测试办公室 has created a prep workshop in Canvas for all new students to review placement criteria, purpose and study resources prior to taking the ACCUPLACER 放置 test. Students will need to complete the instructional modules of this course prior to taking their ACCUPLACER test. This workshop will review study resources, test format and the current process for taking ACCUPLACER through the testing center.

If you have completed the SAT or ACT test review the chart below to see if you are eligible to be placed into courses without a placement test.                       

Qualifying SAT or ACT 分数s (if tested after Feb. 6, 2019)

If you completed the Language Arts or Math GED® tests after July 1, 2018 and scored higher than 164 on either exam, you may be able to use these scores to place into a credit courses. If you would like to use your GED® scores, please submit your GED® transcript to 记录及注册.

Students who do not speak English or for whom English is a second language may be given the ACCUPLACER LOEP exam. Based on the student's background, ACCUPLACER will determine if the LOEP exam is required automatically.  

The ESL office has changed the writing sample requirement and added the ESL Listening exam. Depending on placement, students may need to take the ESL WritePlacer essay and/or ESL Listening. Study resources for all of the ESL ACCUPLACER tests, 包括WritePlacer, can be found on our ACCUPLACER Prep Canvas Page.
